Alec was able to come home early this afternoon so that we could carve pumpkins. We told the kids that if they wouldn't help us clean the guts out that we wouldn't carve any faces for them. Here are the two reactions...

It's about time you updated! Allie supposedly had a pumpkin to help with but the icky inside didn't appeal to her at all. I kind of understand the aversion to the slime but it is also the fun of it. I hope all of yours had a happy halloween. What did they dress up as?

aaah - the pumpkin carving. Liza and Landon had no interest in doing the inside when they saw how slimy dirty it was, but we still had fun. your pumpkins are cute ; )
Oh, looks like fun! That was one of my favorite traditions growing up - the pumpkins. Nice job!
You know my kids gag at this event! Except for Will, he is our token non-gagger. At least we got one.
