One of my goals for the summer was to teach Abigail how to ride her bike without training wheels. Well, I haven't gotten around to it yet. But no worries, her sweet friend Kate (who has been riding without training wheels since we met her two years ago when she was 4) took care of it yesterday. Abigail is quite thrilled about her new found skill. By 7:30 this morning she was dressed, had her bed made, and her cereal ready so that she could get outside and practice.

Way to go Abby. Jared was so excited when he finally learned how to ride his bike without training wheels. He just learned how to start by himself this year.

Impressive Abigail (and Kate)! I was just wondering the other day when kids started riding without training wheels.
I love when the kids are motivated to get going in the morning like that.
