Bike Car Wash

The other day--which in Alec language could be anywhere from 1 to 365 days ago--we had a bike car wash. The kids had fun getting themselves and their bikes all clean and ready for the summer. I read about the idea in a Summer Bridge Activities book, and it seemed right up Abigail's alley, in particular. She loves to do chores, especially those involved with wiping and scrubbing. It's a little strange, and I'm not sure where she gets it from (although, it could definitely be an inherited trait from either of her grandmothers). The little task-master is always harping on me about it being time to mop the kitchen floor.

After the bike wash we had to have a race down the driveway of course. (Can you tell they are saying "cheeeese"?)
